Behaviour

Behaviour is about the area that, the standard exists, the driver knows and understands the standard, so why haven’t they followed and complied with the standard?

Any incident root cause can be separated into the Standards, Education and Behaviour categories.  If a driver knows the standard and has been educated in the standard but still chooses to do something outside of the standard then this is a behavioural / mindful choice which needs to be addressed.

Unsafe choices lead to incidents and non conformances to standards.

Incident reporting is vital for us to understand how and where incidents either have occurred or have potential.  The data we collate from all non conformances and incidents helps us to identify trends and therefore put in place preventive measures.

The Alert bulletins section on this page are regarding incidents which have occurred and the learnings and actions we have taken following on.

The graphs are detailing the areas where incidents happen, what tasks people are doing when something goes wrong and the types of incidents that we are seeing.
