Customer Service Representative

Your Role

Join a dynamic and professional team at P&O Ferrymasters, where you will be at the forefront of delivering top-tier customer service to our international client base. As a Customer Service Representative, you will take ownership of the customer order process, ensuring smooth administrative support while consistently meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Input booking information into our operating system (Fr8) in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring it is updated throughout the day. Take Custoimmediate action to resolve operational challenges on behalf of the customer when company standards are not met.
  • Ensure all documentation and requirements related to hazardous loads are met in accordance with regulations.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and integrity across all orders.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with your dedicated client base, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Record and apply all customer agreements (e.g., rates, fuel surcharges, invoicing terms).
  • Keep Planners informed about the orders taken and their priorities, ensuring smooth coordination with other teams (Shipping, Sales, Traffic).
  • Proactively address potential issues that could lead to customer dissatisfaction, including service level failures or delays.
  • Advise customers on order status, delivery/collection updates, service level changes, delays, or additional costs.
  • Work closely with the Supervisor of Customer Service to meet departmental objectives and ensure smooth coordination with other departments, such as Shipping, Sales, Traffic and other P&O Ferrymasters offices in response to customer requirements.
Your Profile
  • Have at least two years of specific work experience in a customer service role preferably in logistics
  • Have strong communication skills and you are a real team player
  • Have a good topographical knowledge
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Have very good working knowledge of English and Dutch language
