Business Development Support

Your Role

As Business Development Support, you will need to acquire good quality new business from existing and potential clients, always ensuring that opportunities are maximised, to support operations in finding creative solutions with suppliers, support with new business implementations and improve processes between customers and our internal operation.

You will also support any opportunity to grow business by finding new possible trade areas and support operations in the start-up period to share experience and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Playing an active part in the company’s commercial development and contributing innovative ideas for the development of the business across the full range of the Assets and Logistics divisions, special attention and focus on the business for the Katowice office.
• Support in generating new business and meeting Sales targets according to the KPI’s set
• Being active member of the Logistics SpotTeam in Katowice
• Resolving customer issues were requested by colleagues and managers.
• Establishing close working relationships with all key operations within the business. Understanding the company’s operational processes in accepting bookings through collection, shipment, and delivery
• Understanding the company’s customer service policy
• Increasing revenue at every opportunity
• Continuously searching for ways to improve the efficiency of the company.
• Cooperating with the local Logistics offices in finding new hauliers, alternative solutions and new ideas regarding optimal haulier usage
• Assisting the Head of Region West and Business Development Coordinator in growing the logistics business
• Substituting for colleagues in case of absence and/or illness
• Carrying out all other task which may be delegated by the Head of Region West and or any other task which may be necessary to successfully carry out one’s job role.

As Business Development Support, you take responsibility and possess excellent communication skills.

So you:

• Are educated to a minimum of Bachelor level or equivalent, preferably within the logistics industry;
• Have spent minimum 2 years in Logistics industry
• Have good command of Polish and English language (additional European languages are preferred);
• Have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages;
• Are familiar with logistics and transport, especially charter, container, and trailer transport throughout Europe
• Are accurate, and customer orientated
• Are reliable, motivated, collaborative, empathetic and have a good time management.
